One of the biggest considerations you have when choosing a cell phone is the cell service.
Your new phone won’t do you much good if you can’t use it in the places where you go most frequently.
When I bought my phone, cell service was the biggest consideration I had when I chose my mobile phone carrier, and I choose the one that had the most service in and around where I travel the most.
When you are considering who to go with, make sure you look into this before you even get to a store.
Cell service varies with each location.
I know that my phone won’t work in my hometown, but I don’t tend to go there a lot.
My parents live about ten miles from there now, and I have cell service with my current provider there.
My hometown, however, is definitely a different story.
It’s a very small town, and they have a wish to remain old fashioned.
They fought cell service from even coming into the area for a long time.
They gave in eventually, but only partially.
There is now cell service there, but you can only get it through one company.
The company now has a monopoly on the area, and I can’t even make roaming calls there.
Most cell service providers will have a service map on their websites.
You can put in your zip code to see what cell service is like in your general area.
You can also put in zip codes of other places where you may go a lot to be sure you will have cell service there as well.
If you live in a rural area, this is really important.
In some cases, you may have to go with the carrier that has the most service in your area, even if it is spotty.
You may ask friends and family which company they use and how happy they are with their service.
Once you find out who has the best cell service in your area, you can then have a salesperson help you decide which plan is best for you.
Though salespersons can often be annoying, they do know what they are talking about, and they can help you find a plan to save you money, and help you get the most out of your phone.
Everyone needs something different when it comes to cell service, and they are trained to help you figure it out.
