Just last week I found a competition in my email INBOX.

It was from a men's cosmetics company online.

Now, just to be clear, I do encounter a lot of competitions online via my email account.

Spam, ads and junk galore come pouring in.

This one, however, caught my eye because it was so simple.

It basically asked me to answer a ten question survey regarding some male shaving products I've used in the past.

Sure, why not! I filled it out via multiple choice within two minutes.

Now I am in the running to win a dozen free products.

I'm sure you've probably indulged in such competitions online before.

Some even go for the online lottery.

You'd better believe in this day and age that there are lotteries on the web.

This makes it that much more convenient for those who enjoy playing.

Feel free to hop on the web at any time to try your hand at competitions online.

If you have no clue where to begin, just punch in a few of your interests and the words "competitions online." This will inform you of any that are current.

Personally I prefer screenplay competitions.

This is a passion I've had for a few years and enjoy the competition aspect and feedback.

If you're a writer, you may want to consider a few of the writing competitions online.

Most of these have cash prizes and and/or jobs waiting on the other end.

It's a fun way to earn some extra dough.
