Remember that very first day of school? You were all stoked about venturing off to your new classroom and meeting all the cool kids, and just basically having a great time.

Okay, so maybe you were a tad nervous.

This is totally normal in the beginning.

Hey, we all get a few butterflies in our stomach on that first day.

I don't care how old you are.

Whether it's a new experience at school, college, or work, it happens to the best of us.

The trick is to learn how to overcome shyness.

Now, I'm not saying that this is as easy as pie, or that you can do it overnight.

However, oodles of people around the globe do learn how to overcome shyness all the time.

It's definitely not a burden that's exclusive to you.

Are you ready to ditch that nervous twitch and upset stomach? I can still remember when I struggled to overcome shyness.

I recall wanting to know how to overcome shyness and do it quickly.

It all began with one of those spelling bees.

You know the ones you did back in elementary school.

They had a group of students form a line in front of the classroom and each would be asked to spell out a funky word such as "aardvark."

Yep, those were the good old days when fluoride rinse was given to you on a daily basis because no one trusted children to brush their teeth properly.

Okay, that's a tad off the subject but anyway.

The point is you were shy.

You basically stood up in front of the classroom and choked out a few letters, only to realize that you were spelling the wrong word.

Yikes, that's a bummer! Hopefully it wasn't one of those nasty four letter words.

Now, what are you going to do to learn how to overcome shyness?

How are you going to squelch that irksome emotion that makes you look like a dolt in front of the whole class? Well, there always is the classic "picture everyone naked" routine.

Now, you should keep in mind that this could cause you to laugh hysterically.

Or worse, some of the folks watching may not be people you want to see without their clothes.

In this day and age there are a few alternate ways to learn how to overcome shyness.

If you are interested in finding out the most popular ones, then I suggest you get online for a closer look.

Those days of being nervous and twitching in front of the classroom are over.
