Like many entrepreneurs these days, I believe that the Internet is the best thing that could have ever happened as far as my business enterprises are concerned.

As soon as I saw the potential for making tons of money on a consistent basis from online endeavors, I quit my day job and never looked back.

After many years of trial and error, I've finally settled on a handful of ventures that give me a very respectable ROI for minimal initial outlays.

It may sound surprising, but I've had more success with my mail order companies than with anything else.

Unlike a lot of other business ventures out there, mail order companies are relatively easy to set up and run, which makes them a perfect fit even for those who don't have much experience in the area.

In fact, all you really need to get started is a product or service to sell and a way for customers to place and pay for orders.

With mail order companies, the product or service is the most important component.

If you're not offering something that customers want, then you're not going to make it work no matter how well you handle other aspects of the business.

And therein lies the real beauty of mail order companies as far as I'm concerned.

You see, you don't even need to have your own products these days.

Instead, you can purchase other people's products at wholesale rates and then resell them for a nice profit.

If a product doesn't do well, simply discontinue it and search for something else.

Let me give you an example.

Self-help and how-to books are big sellers for my mail order companies.

Does this mean I have to become a full-fledged author or pay a large fee to a publishing company to be able to sell books? Absolutely not.

There are a number of high-quality publications available for a very reasonable price.

I just pay a small, one-time licensing fee; after that, I can sell as many copies of the publication as I want through my mail order companies and never pay another fee on the same item again.

If you're not interested in using your mail order companies to sell books, there are plenty of other products that offer the same basic licensing agreement.

A quick search on the Internet will yield numerous reselling options for the kind of product you want to deal with.

As you can see, it's possible to run mail order companies without having to reinvent the wheel as far as products go.

Just find something you're interested in selling and that customers are interested in purchasing.

Then, get your licensing fees taken care of and you'll be operating your very own mail order companies in no time.
