I wish I could find whomever it is that has sold my email to a mailing list so I could strangle them.

It's really funny when you sign up for something and people swear they will not sell your address to anyone else, yet somehow the spam emails start pouring in.

Though I know there are other ways your email address can be sold to mailing lists, I'm pretty sure I know who did it this time with one of my email addresses that I use for business.

This is the big reason why I can't use one, and why I am swearing at those who sold my address to mailing lists.

The worst thing you can do is reply to a spam email that says you can click on a link to stop them from emailing you.

It doesn't work, and all it does it verify that your address is active.

This makes your address even more valuable and it can be sold for more money as an active account to mailing lists.

Once you prove you are active, the amount of mail you get will double.

I left the bulk folder in my email go for about a week without emptying it and I found that I got over a thousand spam emails in three days.

That is utterly ridiculous.

I know my address has been sold time and time again to various mailing lists.

They better hope I don't find out who they are.
