Organizations like OSHA are thought to police a company’s implantation of the rules and guidelines.

However, these organizations are designed to work with employers to help them lower the number of injuries and illnesses that are job-related.

Of course, occupational health and safety is investigated and reviewed on a regular basis.

This is especially true if the company typically has a high number of illnesses and injuries that are work-related.

The approach used by inspectors is fair and it also is quite helpful to many companies who need help with compliance.

Since compliance to occupational health and safety can pose some challenges to many companies, OSHA has developed education and compliance assistance programs that work in collaboration with the employer.

Employees may read publications, watch videos and attend workshops that are designed to inform and train employees about occupational health and safety.

The information that is provided is specific to the job.

For example, individuals who work in the health field will receive different training than those who work in factories.

Both of these careers are considered to be high risk but the risks are specific to the job itself.

There are basics that are relevant across the board.

However, OSHA works very hard to make the information applicable to specific fields.

The collaboration between OSHA and employers has helped everyone involved.

Rather than simply enforcing rules and regulations, OSHA serves to aid and educate employers as well as employees about occupational health and safety.

This collaboration is the ideal approach to making sure that employees are safe and healthy on the job.
