Online catalog

Having an online catalog is something that has become more popular for stores over the years.

I have to admit that I am one of those people who does the majority of their Christmas shopping on my computer.

Yes, I tend to find a store or company that has an online catalog, and I get some amazing deals without having to fight over parking spots or stand in line forever.

Within days, my gifts can be delivered to someone else's front door, or my own.

I can even have them gift wrapped without having to worry about finding a piece of wrapping paper that will cover the entire package.

While many people tend to think that shopping off of the internet isn't as personal, it saves so much time and energy for customers.

Of course, there is always the possibility that whatever you are buying doesn't fit properly or is damaged.

Perhaps it isn't quite what you thought it would be.

On many occasions, it is your responsibility to pay for the return shipping.

Quite a few stores don't allow you to return items that you purchased through their online catalog, to their stores.

There are several items that I will not purchase through an online catalog.

Getting shoes and pants is almost impossible for me without having first tried them on.

I've spent too much money returning things that I've ordered before.

For those items, I do venture out to the malls or stores to make my purchases.

However, for anything else, I am such a huge fan of finding an online catalog.

I can shop for hours in my pajamas, think about an item for a day before deciding, and then making a purchase.

There are no kids crying, no one bumping into me, and I don't have to see how many bags I can carry at one time.

I have also found that quite frequently, an online catalog may offer specials or discounts that the stores are not offering.

If you're really lucky, an online catalog might be offering discounts and free shipping.

Those are the days that I squeal in delight from the comforts of my living room.

My husband thinks that I'm ridiculous.

However, he's never complained about the items I've purchased for him online.

Of course, one you buy through an online catalog, chances are that you may start to receive them in your mailbox.

You might also get advertisements in your email account.

To me, that isn't a problem.

In fact, I might even learn about more savings and discounts that I can take advantage of.

This holiday season, I'll be sitting in front of my computer, doing some online shopping.
