When I travel, I insist on staying in a quality hotel.
I used to take the cheapest place I could find, but I soon found that I was completely dissatisfied and it put a bit of a damper on my vacation or weekend getaway. When you spend a little more money to get a room in a quality hotel you will find that the entire experience is well worth the cost. Not only are you not worried about cleanliness, you have many features and services available to you that may help you feel right at home while you are away from home. One feature I insist upon in a quality hotel is a restaurant. Many hotels don’t have them and I find this to be highly inconvenient. Don’t we all have to eat? When I travel with my daughter, getting out in my car to search for food in a strange place is not exactly what I want to be doing with my time. I want to have somewhere to eat, and a good quality hotel will have something for everyone. In most cases they will only serve breakfast or dinner, but many serve lunch menus as well. Another thing a quality hotel must have is a magnificent bed. When I spend over a hundred dollars a night on a room, the bed had better to be die for. Some of the best beds I have found were in the Crowne Plaza hotels, and the ones in the Marriott’s are not too bad either. If the bed is not comfortable you can’t get a good rest, which is what many people need as a part of a good vacation. If you want to know if a hotel is a quality hotel, just ask about the beds. You can find great prices on a quality hotel if you take some time to look. You can find great deals on online travel sites. This works best if you already have an idea of which hotel you want to stay in. You can look up their prices and see what they have to offer you. You may find that another quality hotel in the area has a better deal, and that may help you decide to stay somewhere else. Just remember when you use these sites you have to prepay.
