You want to know what one of the coolest concepts ever is? Hey, I've got it; solar heating.
Heck, solar anything actually. I plain and simply love the idea of solar energy.
Now, I'll bet you can guess why it is that I love it. It's absolutely free of course! We all should love and take advantage of this wonderful resource.
By the way, what ever happened to the solar car concept? That thing was pretty cool.
I'll bet it would fly through a hot desert.
Maybe the issue came with driving the vehicle at night time. However, I would assume it could store energy all day long and then use it at night.
Regardless, the solar car concept apparently bombed. At least concerning the general public.
I know I don't see anyone driving around in one. Now, solar heating, and solar lighting are a completely different story.
We can always use more efficient ways to heat our homes. Yeah, it's true; we do have natural gas and it's fairly clean.
But, imagine how clean solar heating would be. It's simply based on the sun's powerful rays of light and heat.
Store plenty of this up and it will cost you nothing. Let's face it; no one can charge us for the sunlight.
Well, at least not yet anyway. My wife and I like to use solar lights outside of our home.
You've surely seen the ones that stick in the ground like lanterns. These are awesome.
They basically store energy all day long from the sun, and then once it gets dark, the lights come on and go all night.
That's awesome. You don't have to deal with batteries or plugging anything in.
This is the way it should be. Now I've probably got you interested in solar lights.
Place them all along your driveway and sidewalk for a much better and more well lit path at night.
What source of heat do you currently take advantage of? Do you have forced gas heat or do you possibly burn wood all winter long?
Wood is generally more cost efficient, if that is indeed what you're looking for. Well, at least until solar heating systems become more attainable.
You can check out nuances regarding solar heating on the World-Wide-Web at any time.
Do your research and find out if there's currently something available for you.
